SGC Cisco Academy offers two different cybersecurity courses in Zimbabwe; Introduction to Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity Essentials. The Introduction to Cybersecurity course explores cyber trends, threats and staying safe in cyberspace, and protecting personal and company data. Cybersecurity Essentials covers foundational knowledge and essential skills for all cybersecurity domains including information security, systems security, network security, ethics and laws, and defense and mitigation techniques used in protecting businesses.
Students learn how to protect your personal data and privacy online and in social media, and why more and more IT jobs require cybersecurity awareness and understanding. Cybersecurity Essentials is recommended for students planning to study any CCNA certification. It provides foundational security skills for entry-level networking and security roles.
Cyber-criminals and hackers are hitting headlines almost every week. They can ruin a company's reputation and destroy the business. And the threat is increasing rapidly. This is why cybersecurity is becoming one of the world’s fastest growing business components.
This is an International Qualification. The course leads to a Cybersecurity Specialist (SCYBER) certification. Registration is in progress for January Cybersecurity INTAKE 1.
